Habloe is a language-learning app that creates a supportive environment for learners to practice their target language. Whether through 1-on-1 messaging, virtual calls, or community forums, Habloe empowers users to confidently improve their skills and connect with others.
In my Research and Data Analysis in Information Technology, LIS3201, and I was tasked to propose a product for a mock company. The product is an app that improves communication between patients and physicians. For this project, I did research on costs for app creation, consumer behavior analysis, and created a design for the application to present to stakeholders.
Designed an ERD for a rental system managing vehicles, customers, maintenance, employees, and certifications. My role involved mapping relationships, establishing primary/foreign keys, and ensuring referential integrity. The challenges included handling complex associations, maintaining logical constraints, and normalizing the database to prevent redundancy. This project strengthened my skills in database design, normalization, SQL, and managing relationships between entities.

Leadership is about inspiring others and creating opportunities for growth. Through my roles in STARS, WISE, FGLP, and Por Colombia, I learned how to navigate diverse challenges—whether it was launching a brand-new leadership program for first-generation students or organizing large-scale events that brought together the tech community. I developed a deep appreciation for adaptability: each role pushed me to think on my feet, adjust plans, and maintain a clear vision, even when things didn’t go as expected.
During my time at Protiviti as a Tech Consulting Intern, I used Excel for advanced data modeling, payroll audits, and SoD analysis with FastPath, ensuring compliance and system integrity. In my UX and Information Architecture classes, I created wireframes and prototypes for projects involving pretend stakeholders, focusing on user-centered design. My foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript was developed during my web development class, while I'm currently building SQL skills in my Database Management class to extract and analyze data effectively. These experiences have strengthened my technical proficiency across both consulting and design domains.
